Off and away

This weekend I making the most of the bank holiday weekend, in Northamptonshire, catching up with old friends and enjoying the British inland waterways, I know everyone at Cruise.co.uk must be missing me, but I'm away and will be spending tomorrow and crick boat show, looking at some different kind of cruise vessels that I'm used to dealing with, I'm sure I wont find a boat with the service or standards of a luxury liner like Oceania cruises, however something like the the new Amsterdam wide beam narrow boat by Heritage of Evesham will surely captivate those who choose to cruise on a smaller scale.

CRUISING ALONG NICELY!!

Monday morning upon us and after a beautiful sunny weekend on the water ways, I am back at work facing the challenges’ ahead on launch week. Saturday started the launched with 2011 P&O and Cunard cruises, so if your looking at getting away in peak season with the family, Id suggest you get on the phone and enquire about availability as the bigger, family occupancy units and disabled cabin will be the first to go. If the cruise or cruises you are looking for has yet to ‘be launched’ then we are happily taking ‘Pre registrations’ which allows you to be first in line when they do go live to book. Call in the office on 0800 091 5254 to discuss your options.

EMAIL ME AT: nadinel@cruise.co.uk and I will get straight back to you.

Otters' Pocket

My Step daughter and I taking a little trip out!

RIVER CRUISING

iverWow. Its barely the end of April and here we are with the thoughts of Summer upon us. If your anything like me, planning what to do for holidays and short breaks are at the top of your list!! My first jaunt will be this weekend (River water levels permitting) I need to get 'Otters Pocket' back out and up to form this weekend, well I say 'I' when I actually mean Curtis, my other half, he is a boat engineer so he gets his hands dirty whilst I get domesticated.. Blow out the cobwebs from all corners body, mind and boat! Being on a river certainly brings a whole new level to the term 'Chill out and Relax'

Make sure you keep an eye out for the famous 'Plastic Bag fish' in city centre canals, but these are becoming rarer as British Waterways do an excellent job as is their cousin the 'Plastic Bottle Crab' amongst some of the more true natural greats, such as wild birds and a fowl.

As beautiful as these areas are, taking a river boat cruise through France and the Saone would knock socks off our ‘little’ waterways, Ill post some info on here about that over the weekend and try and show you some pictures of the ship, she really is a mighty vessel.
